Freeport, NY | Looking to write original music (Strokes, Voidz, Arctic Monkeys, Ween)

Hey 23 year old Freeport, NY based guitarist here, I've been trying to find people to write original music with, but I keep running into the same problem. The people who are serious about making music usually aren't into the kind of music I love, and the people who are into it usually aren't serious about making it. My favorite bands are The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Ween, The Voidz, and I love a whole lot more. I like fast rhythm forward songs with driving, melodic, angular guitars. If you like anything like that, message me. I like Stevie Wonder, Funkadelic, The Allman Brothers, Rolling Stones, The Clash, Velvet Underground, and plenty more just as much.

Really I'm just looking for someone who also wants to take a serious shot at writing great original music. I don't care if you've been playing for two years or twenty.
