What happened next
The 1994 Yoyo a Gogo festival ran for four days at the Capitol Theater in Olympia and featured Bikini Kill, Heavens to Betsy, Slant 6, the Make-Up, Beat Happening, and dozens more. It was less a festival than a national convergence; the bands that played and the people who travelled to see them formed the spine of American DIY music for the next decade.
